Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Creatix YT is a free, open-source suite of tools for YouTube creators. This policy explains what data the official instance at creatix-yt.maecly.com handles, why, for how long, and the rights you have over it.

In short

  • No ads and no payments. We never sell or rent your data.
  • Every tool works without an account. An account only syncs your history and favourites.
  • Statistics about YouTube channels are never kept for more than 30 days.
  • The counters that enforce the daily usage limits are short-lived.

Who is responsible

The official instance is operated by Miguel Angel Esparza Calero, who publishes Creatix as MAECLY. Write to creatix@maecly.com about anything related to your data. Creatix is open source: copies hosted by other people are run by them, and this policy does not apply to them.

Data we handle

Depending on what you use, Creatix handles the following data:

  • Account (optional): your email address, display name and, if you sign in with Google, your profile picture. Firebase Authentication (Google) stores them. Passwords are handled by Firebase and we never see them.
  • History and favourites (signed-in users only): the channels you analysed or saved, stored in Cloud Firestore (Google) so they sync across your devices.
  • Usage limits: a keyed hash (HMAC) of your IP address (anonymous visitors) or of your user ID (signed-in users) identifies a daily counter that protects the shared YouTube API quota. The IP address is never stored in clear.
  • Feedback: the message you send and, if you are signed in, your user ID and email address. It is stored so we can follow up, and forwarded to us by email through Resend. We do not store your IP address with feedback.
  • Scheduled reports (optional, verified email required): if you subscribe, your email address, the channel the report is about, how often you want it and the language. To show changes we keep one snapshot of the channel public statistics (subscribers, views, videos), overwritten on every report and never kept for more than 30 days. Reports are sent through Resend.
  • Analytics: Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure page views and performance in aggregate, without cookies. Creatix uses no other analytics or tag manager.
  • Technical logs: our host, Vercel, processes your IP address, browser and the pages you request in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

YouTube API Services

Creatix uses YouTube API Services to read public data about channels, videos and comments. It only reads public data and does not ask for access to your YouTube account. By using Creatix you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to the data processed by YouTube API Services.

Statistics about channels (subscribers, views, video counts and similar) that Creatix stores, for example in your history or in its cache, are refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as the YouTube API Services Developer Policies require.

Revenue, CPM and similar figures are estimates calculated by Creatix. They are not YouTube data.

What the tools do with data

The tools fetch public data from YouTube when you use them and show the results in your browser. Apart from your history (if you are signed in) and a cache that maps @handles to channel IDs for at most 30 days, nothing you analyse is stored. Exports (PDF, Excel, CSV and TXT) are generated in your browser.

How we use data

We use the data above only to:

  • Provide the tools, your account and your synced history.
  • Enforce fair daily limits that protect the shared YouTube API quota.
  • Answer feedback and send the reports you asked for.
  • Keep the service secure and understand, in aggregate, how it is used.

Creatix shows no ads. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data for advertising.

Service providers

These providers process data on our behalf. Some are based in the United States and rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework:

How long we keep data

  • Account, history and favourites: until you delete them or ask us to delete your account.
  • Statistics about YouTube channels: at most 30 days, then refreshed or deleted.
  • Usage counters (hashed IP address or user ID): only for the day they count, deleted within 7 days.
  • Feedback: as long as needed to follow up, at most 12 months.
  • Report subscriptions: until you unsubscribe (every report has a one-click unsubscribe link) or ask us to delete your account.
  • Hosting logs: as set by Vercel's retention, usually a few days.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from your profile (Delete account): your account and data are deleted right away. You can also write to creatix@maecly.com from the address you signed up with, and we delete your account, history, favourites and report subscriptions within 30 days.

Security

Data is stored on Google Cloud through Firebase and encrypted in transit and at rest. Firestore security rules make sure only you can read your history. Signed-in sessions use a secure, HTTP-only cookie.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Give you access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and your data.
  • Export your data in a readable format.
  • Stop optional processing you consented to.
  • Stop processing based on legitimate interest, if you object to it.

Write to creatix@maecly.com. We answer within 30 days.
